As Neftchi prepares for the new season, the club has ended cooperation with two more players.

According to Offsideplus.az, citing the club’s press service, German defender Robert Bauer and Portuguese midfielder Rafael Guizzo have left the club.

Both players terminated their contracts with Neftchi by mutual agreement.

With their departure, the number of players who have left Neftchi after the end of the 2024/2025 season has risen to nine.

Previously, Yegor Bogomolski, Azer Aliyev, Azer Salahli, Yuri Matias, Rahman Hajiyev, and Hojjat Haghverdi were released after their contracts were not extended.

Goalkeeper Rustam Samigullin, who was on loan at Neftchi, has returned to his parent club, Sabah.
