Kapaz has registered its 40th heavy away defeat in the history of the Azerbaijan championships.

According to Offsideplus.az, citing the official website of the PFL, this occurred during the 36th round of the Misli Premier League in a match played yesterday against Turan Tovuz, where Kapaz suffered a 0–4 loss.

The Ganja-based club suffered its first heavy defeat in the 1995/96 season. More specifically, on September 10, 1995, Kapaz conceded three unanswered goals to Qarabağ.

Kapaz now holds the anti-record for the most heavy away defeats in the league. Turan has 36 such losses, Shahdag (Qusar) has 35, and Gabala has 32.
