Neftchi, who finished the 2024–25 Azerbaijan Premier League season in 6th place, is preparing for several squad changes ahead of the upcoming season.

According to Offsideplus.az, the Baku-based club will part ways with five players: Rahman Hajiyev, Azer Aliyev, Yegor Bogomolsky, Yuri Matias, and Azer Salahli. An official announcement regarding their departures is expected soon.

In addition, Ramil Sheydayev is also expected to leave Neftchi. The 29-year-old forward will part ways with the club once an agreement is reached regarding financial terms.
