The prize fund for Division I of the Azerbaijan Chess Championship has been announced.
The Azerbaijan Chess Federation informed Offsideplus.az of the details.
It was reported that the prize fund amounts to 7,000 manats for the men’s competition and 3,000 manats for the women’s event. A total of 40 players will compete in the men’s tournament, while 20 players will take part in the women’s competition.
It was also noted that the drawing of lots ceremony will take place tomorrow.
The Azerbaijan Division I Championship will be held from January 6 to 14.
