Gabala has again received an offer from Israel for Nigerian striker James Adeniyi, whose contract expires at the end of the current season.
According to Offsideplus.az, the general manager of the club Zaur Azizov said that they received real offers from not one, but two clubs in this country:
"We are considering it now. I think the most realistic issue now is to evaluate the Israeli offer. There are two clubs out there, and Kiryat-Shimona Hapoel, which we have previously leased to James, is also interested in him. It will probably be clear in 1-2 days."
Azizov said that they plan to transfer a player to the offensive line during the winter transfer window:
"It's all about James' departure. We're already looking at players who are interesting and fit our budget all year round. If Adeni's departure, then maybe we've brought in a new player because Rodrigo Gattas has left our team. It's possible that instead of these two legionnaires. Let's attract an attacking player. But all this will happen if James leaves. "
Gabala signed Adeniyi from Albanian club Skenderbeu in the summer of 2018 and signed a three-year contract. The 28-year-old forward spent last season at Hapoel, scoring three goals in 19 appearances.
