Since its inception in 2016, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix is gearing up for its 10th anniversary race.

Offsideplus.az reports that over the years, fans at the Baku City Circuit have witnessed thrilling battles and historic milestones. Five drivers in particular stand out for leaving an indelible mark on Baku's F1 history:

• Nico Rosberg: Winner of the inaugural Baku race in 2016. Starting from pole position, he led every lap, set the fastest lap, and claimed victory to achieve a career Grand Slam.

• Max Verstappen: A two-time winner in Baku (2022 and 2025). He took his Baku success to new heights in 2025 by securing another dominant Grand Slam.

• Lewis Hamilton: The seven-time world champion claimed victory in Baku in 2018 and finished as runner-up in 2019.

• Charles Leclerc: Holder of the official Baku lap record (1:43.009). The Ferrari driver achieved an incredible streak by taking pole position four consecutive times from 2021 to 2024.

• Sergio Perez: Known as the "King of the Baku Circuit," he remains the most successful driver in Azerbaijan with two victories (2021, 2023) and five podium finishes.

The 10th anniversary Grand Prix in 2026 is set to bring new records and unforgettable moments to the streets of Baku.
