As part of preparations for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025, another training session for marshals specializing in fire protection and rescue was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Offsideplus.az reports that the aim of the training, organized by the Main Operations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Baku City Circuit Operating Company, was to increase the skills and experience of marshals to prevent fires that may occur during competitions and quickly eliminate their consequences.

About 200 marshals participated in the training, which consisted of theoretical and practical parts, of which 60 were professional firefighters and rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

In the theoretical part of the training, the team of fire marshals of the Baku City Circuit made presentations to the participants of the event in order to strengthen their skills in fire safety, prevention of possible such incidents, and organization of rescue measures.

In the practical part, the rules of behavior of professional firefighters and rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations with special equipment and equipment used in fire safety and rescue operations were clearly explained.

This type of training, which began in July of this year, is being held for the third time. Several more trainings are planned to be held after this.

It should be noted that the next Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held in the capital Baku on September 19-21 of this year. It is planned to involve more than 30 special equipment and about 400 personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations during the race.
