"The competition was organised at a very high level," said Rafiq Huseynov, head coach of Azerbaijan's youth Greco-Roman wrestling team, in an interview with Offsideplus.az.

He shared his thoughts on the U-17 World Championship held in Baku:

"This is the first time in my career that I have seen a competition of this level among youth. The organisation was of a very high standard. This is noted not only by us but also by the athletes and fans who came from abroad.

I am completely satisfied with my athletes. Of course, we could have won a gold medal, but that is sport. Such things can happen. It is normal for this to occur in competitions among youth. Our current goal is to form the Olympic foundation for the future. There is no need to mourn for not winning a gold medal. Today, we need to support both the athletes who won medals and those who did not, so that they can bring us joy with successful results in the future. At this age, they have a great need for motivation."
