Sabah have won their fourth consecutive match without conceding at the start of the 2026/2027 Misli Premier League season.

According to Offsideplus.az, citing the Professional Football League, this marks only the fourth time in the history of the national championship that a team has opened the campaign with four straight clean-sheet victories. Previously, Khazri (1995/1996), Khazar Lankaran (2007/2008), and Qarabag (2019/2020) achieved the same feat. However, Sabah set a new league record by netting 11 unanswered goals across these four fixtures.

In Round V, the Baku-based side secured a 3-0 away victory over Shafa, marking their 10th large-margin away win in Premier League history.

Midfielder Veljko Simic also celebrated a milestone during the match, scoring his 20th goal for Sabah in his 46th appearance for the club.
