Adil Shukurov, who managed Səbail last season, has been appointed as the coordinator of the Sumgayit academy.

In connection with this transition, the experienced specialist shared his impressions with Offsideplus.az:

"After working as the head coach at Zirə, I played a role in establishing the academy. A key issue is integrating players from the academy into the first team. This is the priority. After Qəbələ, Sumgayit is the club that fields the most academy players.

This aspect was more appealing to me. Teacher Riad has demonstrated this in his work and actions."
