Another Azerbaijani has won the trust of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).

Offsideplus.az reports that our compatriot Elchin Mammadov has received another appointment from the highest football institution of the continent.
He will perform the function of UEFA match director in the match between "Fenerbagh" (Turkey) and "Rangers" (Scotland) within the 1/8 final stage of the European League.

The match will take place on March 6 this year at the "Şukrü Saracoğlu" stadium in Istanbul. E. Mammadov works as the director of Club Licensing Department of AFFA. It should be noted that another Azerbaijani, Orkhan Huseynzade, acted as a UEFA representative in the match between "Galatasaray" and "AZ Alkmaar" in the return match of the Europa League play-off stage last week.
