The referee for the Champions League match between Liverpool and Qarabag has been announced.
According to Offsideplus.az, the match will be officiated by Ivan Kruzliak from Slovakia. He will lead the refereeing team for this final-round encounter of the League phase.
He will be assisted by linesmen Branislav Hancko and Jan Pozor. Peter Kralovic will serve as the fourth official.
The VAR duties have been assigned to Pol van Boekel, with Jan Boterberg serving as the AVAR.
The clash between Liverpool and Qarabag is scheduled to kick off at 00:00 Baku time on the night of January 28–29.
Heading into the final round (Matchday 8), Liverpool currently sits in 4th place with 15 points, while Qarabag occupies 18th place with 10 points.
