Sheki head coach Bedri Meric spoke to the club's press service following the match against Ganja.
Offsideplus.az reports that the Turkish specialist stated the following:
"I congratulate our opponent and wish them success in the playoffs. Despite our roster issues, I am pleased with my players' fight and their stance on the court. Except for the rebounds, we stayed in the game until the end and could have even won.
During the match, we encountered some moments beyond our control that were inconsistent with fair play. If unethical steps are taken on the court, one must be prepared for the consequences. We reacted to these situations. However, it is not a major issue; on the contrary, it served us well in terms of tough competition ahead of the play-ins.
Now, we look forward to our play-in match with full motivation. We are prepared for our opponent, and now it is time to show it on the court. I have full confidence in my players."
It should be noted that the match concluded with a victory for Ganja - 84:73.
