The U12 team of Sabah Football Academy has kicked off its campaign at the international “Rize Cup” tournament in Turkey.

According to Offsideplus.az, the “Owls” faced local side Rizespor in the opening match, suffering a narrow 2-1 defeat. Sabah’s only goal came from Sahlab Mammadov.

However, Emin Salmanov’s team bounced back impressively, claiming victories in their next two matches.

Sabah defeated Başakşehir 1-0 and overcame Gaziantep with a 3-1 scoreline. All four goals in these two matches were scored by Arda Faramuzov.

After three matches, Sabah has collected 6 points.
