The AFFA Appeal Arbitration Tribunal has held a meeting.

According to Offsideplus.az, citing AFFA’s official website, three appeals were reviewed during the session.

  1. The appeal regarding Emin Hasanzada, futsal player of Neftchi, was rejected.
He was sent off with a direct red card in the 34th minute of the Futsal Premier League match against Shusha on April 1, due to aggressive behavior. As a result, he was suspended for 4 matches. The decision remains unchanged.
  2. The appeal concerning Ebru Amirova, player of Shefa, was also rejected.
In the quarterfinal match of the AFFA U-15 Girls League against Umid (Ganja), Ebru insulted an official of the opposing team in the 36th minute and received a direct red card. She was suspended for 4 matches. The tribunal upheld the AFFA Disciplinary Committee’s decision.
  3. The appeal submitted by Shamakhi club was partially upheld.
In the AFFA U-15 League match between Shamakhi and Metak on April 22, Vugar Suleymanov, a registered coach not listed on the match protocol, was banned from all football-related activities for 1 year and fined 500 AZN for punching several underage players from Metak. Additionally, Shamakhi was ordered to play their next home match without fans.
All these sanctions have now been lifted. The case will be re-evaluated by the AFFA Disciplinary Committee for a proper legal assessment.
