Ahead of the Azerbaijan Cup final, the head coaches of both teams — Valdas Dambrauskas (Sabah) and Rashad Sadygov (Zira)—shared their thoughts on the decisive match with the Professional Football League's press service.

Offsideplus.az reports that the manager of Misli Premier League champions Sabah expressed his desire for the team to achieve a golden double. He emphasized that winning the cup after the league title would be a fantastic accomplishment:

"Winning the Premier League was a great reward for us. However, if we also win the Azerbaijan Cup, it will be a historic result. Our opponent is a team that never gives up and is capable of surprising us. But we know them well. The psychological factor and individual battles will be crucial in the final."

Zira head coach Rashad Sadygov acknowledged the opponent's strength and stated his team's intention to succeed in their third final attempt:

"Sabah has displayed magnificent performances throughout the season and secured the championship. We fully understand who we are facing in the final. We have played in two previous finals but were unable to win. We will do our best to be the side celebrating this time."

The Azerbaijan Cup final will kick off on May 13 at 20:00 at Neftchi Arena. Both specialists have invited fans to the stadium, promising an exciting contest.
