The first guest of our "Young stars" is Farid, a member of the U-16 team of "Zira". While the main team of "eagles" is competing for a silver medal in the Premier League, the juniors are playing for the championship in the AFFA U-16 League. Farid, who is the defender and captain of "Zira" team, trains with the substitute team, his favorite player is Ramos, but the club career of his favorite player, on the contrary, is in love with "Chelsea", which has a blue logo like "Zira".

- What was your full name?

- Farid Jabbarli.

- When were you born?

— I was born on September 20, 2008.

- How long have you been playing football?

- I have been playing football since I was 8 years old, I started playing football at this academy. I play in defensive position.

- Who played a role in becoming a football player?
- Seymur teacher brought me to football from the very beginning (you can read the interview with Seymur Shabiyev here). There was a selection at the school, from there they sent me to teacher Seymour, who directed me to "Zira".

- Your favorite club and player?
- I play "Zira" in Azerbaijan and "Chelsea" club in the world. My favorite football player is Sergio Ramos.

- Who is your favorite football player in Azerbaijan?
- In Azerbaijan, I like Chantakias, the stopper of "Zira".

- What about players of other clubs?

- I like Bahlul, Yankovic from our other clubs, and recently Zubir, Benzia, Juninho from the leading players.

- Do you want to continue your football career abroad?
- Of course I want to. If there is an option to play abroad, why not?!

- Did you score this season?
- I scored 5-6 goals this year. I have doubled once.

- You practice with the substitute team. Did you debut?
- I train regularly with substitutes. I played in a friendly match as part of "Zira-2". In that game, we played against "Sabail" and won 2:1. I still don't have a contract with the club.

- What successes have you had with "Zira" so far?
- We won 2 cups in the tournament with "Zira", we have 2 republic third places.

- How do you do in school?
- My lessons are good, not bad. My grades are normal, average. I go to preparations, I focus on my lessons there. I am preparing for group I, my goal is computer engineering. I will play football and enter the university.

- Are you interested in other sports?
- Besides football, I watch wrestling and boxing.

- What do you do in your spare time?

– In my spare time, I study and train, nothing else (laughs).

- Which game did you enjoy the most?
- I don't remember exactly... I couldn't remember.

- What about the game that made you sad?
- I was upset... It was the games we lost to "Sabah" in the semi-finals of the AFFA League last year. We lost in both stages. These were the games I was most upset about.
