Our Greco-Roman wrestlers have won three medals at the U-17 World Championship held in Baku.

According to Offsideplus.az, the second day of the tournament at the National Gymnastics Arena saw the winners determined in the weight categories of 48, 55, 65, 80, and 110 kg.

Isfahan Hasanov (80 kg) advanced to the final but lost to Iran's Alireza Rezayi by a narrow margin (1:2), settling for a silver medal.

Omar Salmanov (48 kg), competing for the bronze medal, defeated Georgia's Giorgi Chikvadze (7:1), while Orkhan Habibli (65 kg) triumphed over India's Kunal Dagar (7:5), both securing third place on the podium.

Thus, our team concluded the second day of the competition with 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.
