During the U-17 World Championship held in Baku, the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AWF) signed bilateral cooperation memoranda with the respective federations of Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Morocco.

According to Offsideplus.az, the agreements aim to promote the development of this sport, strengthen institutional ties, and enhance sporting achievements.

The documents outline plans for joint training camps for national teams, expanding participation opportunities in international tournaments, as well as facilitating the exchange of experience between coaches and referees. The AWF considers the expansion of international partnerships a priority for improving the professional training level of athletes.
