Azerbaijani karateka Lala Babazada has been disqualified for three years for violating anti-doping regulations.

According to Offsideplus.az, the National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) reported that the athlete's suspension was triggered by irregularities during the doping control process.

Specifically, the athlete was found guilty of "evading, refusing, or failing to submit to sample collection."

As a result, she will be ineligible to participate in all official competitions for the next three years.
