The Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation has been renamed the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation.

Offsideplus.az reports, citing the press service of the Federation, that a decision was made at the general meeting of the organization.
This step aims to ensure the development of water sports in the country on a single platform, increase flexibility in management, and achieve more effective representation in the international arena.

At the same time, increasing popularity, ensuring mass participation, and attracting teenagers and young people are the main priorities of the federation.
