Matchday 35 of the Albanian Superliga featured a head-to-head encounter between two Azerbaijani players.
Offsideplus.az reports that Egnatia, featuring Azerbaijan national team defender Zamig Aliyev, hosted Vusal Isgandarli's Partizani. The match ended in a 2-0 victory for the home side.
Zamig Aliyev opened the scoring for Egnatia in the 17th minute and played the full 90 minutes. Meanwhile, Vusal Isgandarli started for Partizani but was substituted at halftime.
Currently, Egnatia sits in 3rd place with 57 points, while Partizani occupies 5th place with 45 points.
