According to Offsideplus.az, this league is a real battleground for cyber football fans who do not know the opponent in the console game e-Football PES2021. Those who rely on football tactics and game experience can apply for registration in the EML Open League individually or as a team through the website www.eml.az until December 28. The team must consist of 3 people and only the captain must apply for registration. Individual applicants will be grouped by the organizers into teams. The championship will be held on the Playstation game console.
This season of the E-National League, as well as teams with high results in the first season, cyber teams of professional football clubs playing in the Azerbaijani Premier League, First Division, Regional League and other leagues, will compete and compete in the EML Pro League. In addition, as part of a partnership with the Professional Football League, players playing in Premier League clubs will individually test their mettle in cyber football against each other.
The EML Open is open to any applicant and provides the following opportunities for participants:
• The opportunity to join the permanent staff of the cyber team of professional football clubs
• The opportunity to participate in other international competitions as a team
• All participants will participate in the EML League Cup in parallel. Here, all 56 participating teams will compete for the cup.
• Distinguished participating teams will participate in EML International in parallel. Here they will meet other international clubs.
• The top 2 teams in this tournament will qualify for the EML Pro League, which features cyber teams from professional football clubs. The last two teams in the EML Pro League will move to the EML Open League.
The winner of the tournament will receive gifts, a trophy, as well as a cash prize from sponsors and organizers (1st place 2100 AZN, 2nd place 1500 AZN, 3rd place 1200 AZN). In addition, there will be a cash prize of AZN 100 for the player who scores the most goals in each round. Note that participation in the tournament is paid. The participation fee for 1 person is 50 AZN and this amount forms the prize fund of the tournament.
It should be noted that Karabakh e-Sport team won the first season of the e-National League, which started in April this year, and AjaxBaku e-Sport and Neftchi e-Sport teams took the 2nd and 3rd places. They received AZN 3,700, AZN 1,200 and AZN 520, respectively. This season, as last season, a number of local celebrities who are fans of PES2021 will join the league as part of the EML Invitational project. Unlike the first season, the number of teams was increased from 28 to 56 in the second season. According to last season's statistics, the total number of e-National League matches was over 34,000. This year, the most interesting and principled matches will be presented to the audience through EML's social media channels. The playoffs and finals of the tournament will be held at the EML studio at the Baku Olympic Stadium. The games and the draw will be broadcast on CBC Sport, the project's media partner.
The e-National League has signed an official partnership agreement with Coca-Cola this season. Under the agreement, both players and fans of the e-national league will have the opportunity to win valuable prizes. Thus, players will be awarded in various categories, and competitions will be organized for spectators. The competition will feature valuable prizes such as Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 game consoles.
