The Azerbaijan U-17 national team secured a victory in their second match of the UEFA Development Tournament.

Offsideplus.az reports that the team led by Agil Nabiyev overcame Kazakhstan's respective age group.

The match, held at the "Namys" stadium in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, ended 1-1 in regulation time. Ruslan Guliyev scored the goal for our national team in the 18th minute. In the subsequent penalty shootout, Nabiyev's squad showed more precision, winning 4:2.

It should be noted that the U-17 team previously lost to Russia with a score of 0:5. The team will play its final match of the tournament against Pakistan on April 30.
