Zira captain Qismat Aliyev has celebrated a major career milestone by making his 250th appearance in the Azerbaijan Premier League.

Offsideplus.az reports that the defender's landmark match took place during Matchday 4 against Sabah (0-5).

Having made his top-flight debut in the 2014/2015 season, Aliyev has featured for two domestic clubs, scoring 15 goals in total. He netted 1 goal in 70 appearances for Qabala and has recorded 14 goals in 180 matches for Zira.

With this milestone, Aliyev becomes the 78th player in Azerbaijan Premier League history to reach 250 or more appearances.
