Sabah FC have extended the contract of their football player Joy-Lance Mickels.

Offsideplus.az reports that a new 2-year contract has been signed with the club's all-time top scorer.

Mickels has etched his name into Sabah history by scoring 72 goals in 139 official appearances for the team. The football player, who also represents the Rwanda national team, has celebrated one Azerbaijan championship title and won the national cup twice with the club.

The experienced forward became the top scorer of the championship by scoring 19 goals in 25 matches during the 2025/26 Misli Premier League season.
