The 25th round of the Misli Premier League kicked off today.

According to Offsideplus.az, the opening match featured Shamakhi hosting Araz-Nakhchivan.

Both teams entered the pitch coming off victories in the previous round. The deadlock was broken in the 57th minute when Shamakhi player Vladislav Veremeyev accidentally scored an own goal, which proved to be the only goal of the match.

With this win, the Nakhchivan representative increases its points tally to 39, climbing to 4th place in the standings. Meanwhile, Aykhan Abbasov’s side remains in 8th place with 30 points.
