Mingachevir secured this spot by defeating Sabail with a 4-1 score.

They will face Gabala in a play-off match for promotion to the Misli Premier League.

Note: According to the regulations, the team finishing 11th in the Misli Premier League and the runners-up of the First League must play a play-off match to secure a spot in the top flight for the next season.
