Red Bull driver Max Verstappen’s new number has been confirmed.

According to Offsideplus.az, the Dutch driver will race a Red Bull car bearing the number 3 in the 2026 Formula 1 season. The information was shared on Formula 1’s official page.

Max had previously said the following:

“My car won’t carry the number 33. Apart from number 1, my favorite number has always been 3. When I came to F1, that number was being used by Daniel Ricciardo. Now we can change it. My number will be 3.”

It should be noted that 2025 world champion Lando Norris will drive the car with the number 1 next year.
