Lazar Spasic, the head coach of Sabah Basketball Club, evaluated the team’s pre-season preparations in Lithuania during an interview with the club’s official press service.
Offsideplus.az reports that the Serbian specialist highlighted that early arrival in Lithuania and facing strong, European-caliber opponents were strategic choices to test the squad. He acknowledged that building chemistry takes time with an almost entirely new playing roster and coaching staff, but emphasized that the group is aligned and making steady progress.
Looking ahead to their domestic campaign and the upcoming FIBA Champions League, Spasic stressed the importance of daily growth over long-term speculation.
He expressed confidence that Sabah will find its rhythm, overcome a challenging group stage, and showcase its full potential on the European stage.
