The Azerbaijani men's and women's 3x3 basketball national teams have played their next matches in the qualifiers for the Europe Cup.
Offsideplus.az reports that both of our teams competed in the semifinals today in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo.
On the road to the final, the women's national team defeated the tournament hosts, Kosovo. Our team then secured their spot in the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup 2026 final stage by edgeing past Ireland with a 21-20 victory in the final match.
The final tournament will take place in Antwerp, Belgium, from September 11 to 13.
Meanwhile, the men's national team faced Cyprus in the semifinals and suffered a 10-21 defeat.
