Sabah basketball club has been crowned the champion of Azerbaijan.

According to Offsideplus.az, Rimas Kurtinaitis' team secured the title by defeating Neftchi in the final of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.

Sabah won the series with an overall score of 4-2.

The Owls have now claimed the Azerbaijani championship for the third time in their history.
