The 46th World Chess Olympiad held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, has concluded its tenth round.
According to Offsideplus.az, in the tenth round, the Azerbaijani men's team triumphed over Bulgaria with a score of 2.5 to 1.5. However, our women's team suffered a defeat against Slovenia, losing 0.5 to 3.5.
In the decisive eleventh round taking place today, the men's team will face Serbia, while the women will go up against representatives from Iran.
It is noteworthy that after ten rounds, the men's team is positioned seventh with 15 points, while the women are in 23rd place with 13 points. The tournament, conducted under the Swiss system, will conclude today after 11 rounds.
