Formula 1 driver Max Verspatten suddenly became the man of the agenda in Azerbaijan.

Unfortunately, this was not due to the Dutch pilot's third place in the Portuguese Grand Prix. The reason for his reputation was Max's donation of $ 100 to the Armenian Military Donation Fund. In fact, the organization spread such news, and the Armenian press circulated it. 

Frankly, it was impossible not to regret reading the news. The known behavior of the athlete, who visited Baku as a member of the Red Bull Racing team, could not but be disgusting.

If a person has no close ties with Armenia, what is the root of aid? The other side of the issue, aren't those who work in the Baku City Ring Road, and those who organize this race in Azerbaijan in general, instilling the truth about Karabakh in the pilots who come to our country? Another question is, if such a situation arises, is it so difficult for officials in our country to contact the leadership of the Red Bull Racing team and express their official position. 

You said that our remarks were baseless. Because Verstappen didn't help a penny. There was no such intention. Armenians simply misused the name of the famous athlete and once again acted dishonestly. 

As the website Offsideplius.az , they called the press service of the Baku City Ring Road and told us that we did not have such a situation. When they asked for evidence, they sent an article published in the Dutch press on behalf of the team represented by the pilot.

"Last weekend, the Armenian press reported that Max Verstappen had donated $ 100 to support the Armenian army. In addition, Max was quoted as saying:" If I had not donated to Armenia, I would have been the third. I could not live to the fullest of his joy. Armenian soldiers sacrifice their lives for the homeland every day. " 

Red Bull Racing, of which the pilot is a member, stated its official position on the issue: "On behalf of Max Verstappen, we are confident that our pilot does not recognize such an organization and has not made any donations there."

This is another dishonesty of the lowly. Every time they try to hide under the shadow of different celebrities, not reconciling with the fact that no one needs them. As if the world feels sorry for them, as if there is someone who knows them. This is a curse not only on Max Verstappen, but also on the team he represents. The answer to the swearing is to sue the lowly and demand compensation.
