On 27 September, Commemoration Day was observed by Kəpəz PFK.

According to Offsideplus.az, the team paid tribute to the cherished memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our homeland during a training session.

Head coach Azer Mammadov spoke to the players, particularly the foreign legionnaires, about the heroism displayed during the Patriotic War. He noted that under the leadership of Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, our victorious army has responded appropriately to the provocations of Armenian forces since 27 September 2020. A. Mammadov stated that we owe a debt of gratitude to our martyrs, veterans, and the parents who raised such brave sons, as a significant portion of our occupied lands was reclaimed over the course of 44 days. Following this, a minute of silence was observed in memory of those who lost their lives for the liberation of our lands.

After the training session, the management, players, and coaching staff of Kəpəz PFK visited the Martyrs' Alley in Ganja. They laid a wreath at the "Eternal Flame" monument and placed fresh flowers on the graves of our heroic sons. Additionally, members of Kəpəz's fan club, Anar Mammadov and Emrah Rajapov, as well as Ilgar Burcaliyev, a product of Ganja football and a player for Kəpəz, were also commemorated at their graves, where prayers were offered for their souls.
