Azerbaijani wrestler Gunay Gurbanova has secured a place in the final of the U-23 World Championship held in Las Vegas, USA.

According to Offsideplus.az, the athlete, competing in the 59 kg weight category, triumphed over Argentina's Kamila Amarilla in the semi-finals.

She will face Ukrainian Alina Filipovich in the gold medal match.

In Greco-Roman wrestling, Ruslan Nurullayev (77 kg) claimed a bronze medal after defeating Ukrainian Irfan Mirzoyev in the match for third place.

It is worth noting that earlier, Greco-Roman wrestler Elmir Aliyev (60 kg) won a silver medal.
