The U20 World Wrestling Championships continue in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.

Offsideplus.az reports that on the sixth day of competition, medalists were determined in the women's 57 kg, 59 kg, and 68 kg weight categories, as well as the freestyle 61 kg and 86 kg divisions.

Gunay Gurbanova (57 kg) faced Japan's Konami Ono in the final. Despite leading after the first period, our wrestler was unable to hold off her opponent's attacks in the second half, falling 6-16 to claim the silver medal.

Ruzanna Mammadova (59 kg) also took on a Japanese rival in her gold medal match. Following a tightly contested bout against Sae Noguchi, Ruzanna lost 1-3 and secured the silver medal.

Meanwhile, Jamal Abbasov (61 kg) was defeated 5-11 by Iran's Anvar Farhad Khatari in the repechage round.
