The Azerbaijan U-20 freestyle wrestling national team is launching its next stage of preparation.

Offsideplus.az reports, citing the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, that our young wrestlers will begin joint training sessions with the Turkish national team in Bursa starting tomorrow. The 15-day camp will primarily focus on tactical and technical drills.

Under the leadership of senior coach Arif Abdullayev and coaches Rovshan Hajiyev, Nazim Alijanov, and Ashraf Aliyev, 11 wrestlers have been called up for the preparations:

Muhammed Ismayilov (57 kg), Jamal Abbasov (61 kg), Bashir Verdiyev (65 kg), Haji Karimov (70 kg), Nurlan Aghazade (74 kg), Eljan Ismayilzade, Muradkhan Omarov (both 79 kg), Mahammad Abbaszade (86 kg), Huseyn Mammadtaghizade (92 kg), Farhad Suleymanli (97 kg), and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg).

Following the conclusion of the training camp, the national team will travel to Antalya to compete in the "Champions" tournament, scheduled for April 17-19.
