Brahim Konate, who recently parted ways with Zira, will continue his career in Cyprus.

The 30-year-old midfielder has reached an agreement with Nea Salamina, according to Offsideplus.az.

The French footballer mutually terminated his contract with Zirə at the beginning of August.

During his time in Azerbaijan, Konate also played for Shamakhi. Throughout his career, he has represented French clubs Auxerre and Niort, Spain's Fuenlabrada and Rayo Majadahonda, Lithuania's Kauno Jalgiris, and Israel's Hapoel Afula.

It is worth noting that Brahim Konate transferred from Shamakhi to Zirə in the summer of 2025.
