The opponents of the Azerbaijani national team in the UEFA Nations League were announced today.

Offsideplus.az reports that the draw ceremony held in the Belgian capital Brussels started at 21:00 Baku time.

The team, headed by Aykhan Abbasov, faced Lithuania and Liechtenstein in Group 1 of League D.

It should be noted that the new season in the UEFA Nations League will start on September 24.
