The venue and kickoff time for the Azerbaijan national football team's home match against Ukraine in the FIFA World Cup qualifying round have been confirmed.

According to Offsideplus.az, Fernando Santos' men will host their Group D opponents at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium in the second round of the qualifiers.

The information was released on the official website of the AFFA (Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan).

The match will kick off at 20:00 on September 9 of this year.

It should be noted that this will be Azerbaijan’s first home game in the qualifying stage. Four days earlier, on September 5, the national team will face Iceland away.
