This was stated by Azerbaijani MMA fighter Rasul Rahimov in his statement to Offsideplus.az.

The athlete, who won another victory at the "Core Fighting Championship" tournament, shared his thoughts on the fight: "I worked hard for three months, I did everything I had to. I felt completely ready for the day of the fight. Before the fight, I said that I wanted to knock out. I did what I said in the eighth second."

Rahimov commented on his reaction after the knockout as follows:

"It was just about emotions. Adrenaline is high, everyone reacts in their own way. There were no problems between us and the opponent, after the fight I got closer and calmed down."

The athlete also spoke about his next goals: "Now my main goal is to create a stronger version of myself. I plan to return to training in a short time and prepare for the next fights.

UFC is the dream of every fighter. I also want to show myself there when the time comes. But I'm not in a hurry. I'm moving forward step by step and everything has its own time."

It should be noted that Rahimov, who competes in the 66 kg weight category, defeated his opponent from Turkmenistan, Guvenc Dadaev, in a fight night held in Istanbul yesterday.
