Following the Misli Premier League fixture between Kəpəz and Zirə, the home side's head coach Azer Bağırov attended a press conference.
According to Offsideplus.az, the experienced specialist expressed his gratitude to the fans while evaluating the match and noted his satisfaction with his team's performance:
"To be honest, as a coach, I feel their support from the sidelines, and that is undeniable. Our fans, as you can see, are absolutely magnificent.
As for my team, I am proud of them. They are truly working hard and doing a great job. Despite everything, we had some losses in this game, which were important players for us.
Today, we played against a very strong team, one that plays well with the ball. We gained a point on top of the point we earned in recent days, and I believe this is a success for us."
Touching on the team's roster and transfer policy, the head coach discussed the potential arrival of new players and budget constraints:
"I am considering bringing in one forward as a foreign player. Kalunga is the cheapest foreign player in the world.
As you can see, Kalunga is a player who deserves much more than the amount he is currently receiving."
There was undoubtedly pressure to bring in players from the first division to Kəpəz.
In conclusion, Azer Bağırov specifically highlighted the football atmosphere in Ganja, emphasising that the support of the fans is always crucial.
