Qarabag's player Kadi Borges has been handed a three-match ban, one of which is conditional.

According to Offsideplus.az, this decision was made during a meeting of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee.

The Brazilian player received a direct red card for aggressive behaviour in the 31st minute of the Misli Premier League match between Sumgait and Qarabag, resulting in a three-match suspension, one of which is conditional. Additionally, the Agdam representative has been fined 3,000 manats. The midfielder has also been placed on a six-month probation period.

Furthermore, due to fans directing abusive chants towards the opposing team during the same match, Sumgait has been fined 5,000 manats.

In addition, during the 70th minute of the third round match between Zirə and Neftchi, Neftchi's player Elvin Badalov received a one-match ban after receiving a second yellow card, and the capital club was fined 500 manats. Neftchi was also fined an additional 2,000 manats due to fans throwing objects onto the pitch in the 80th minute of that match.
