According to Offsideplus.az, this decision was made during a meeting of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee.
As a result of Abdullazade's aggressive behaviour, Sumgait has also been fined 3,000 manats. In the same match, Neftchi, which had four players booked with yellow cards, has been fined 700 manats.
In another fixture that took place during the same round, the match between Qarabag and Shamakhi saw four players from the visiting team receive yellow cards, resulting in a fine of 700 manats.
