Continuing its journey in the Champions League, Qarabag has strengthened its squad with a defender in the final days of the winter transfer window.
Offsideplus.az reports that the new signing is a 23-year-old French left-back of Congolese descent. Standing 1.82 meters tall, he began his professional career in 2021 with the French club Metz.
Until 2024, he played in Spain for Tarazona in the third division and Melilla in the fourth division. Since the summer of 2024, he has been playing for the Cypriot club AEK (Larnaca).
The footballer is versatile; in addition to defense, he can play as a left midfielder and a left winger. This season, Gnali has appeared in 26 matches across European competitions and the domestic league, recording 5 assists. In total, he contributed 7 assists in 60 appearances for the Cypriot side.
His contract with AEK (Larnaca) was set to expire in May of this year. Qarabag has completed a direct transfer for the left-back, signing him to a 2.5-year contract. The defender will wear the number 24 jersey for Qarabag.
