Seydina Keita, the latest transfer for Gabala SC, has shared his thoughts with the club's official website.

Offsideplus.az reports that the Senegalese center-back discussed his transition to the team, the infrastructure, and his impressions of Azerbaijani football.

Keita stated that he did not hesitate when he received the offer from Gabala:

"To be honest, I didn't discuss it with Dodo when the offer came from Gabala. This is because he had already told me a lot about the club beforehand. We played together at the Latvian club 'Liepaja.' I had also watched Dodo's performances for Gabala in European competitions. My first impression was that it is a very good team, so I didn't need any additional information."

Noting his familiarity with Azerbaijani football, the defender emphasized that he has regularly followed Qarabag's matches in the Champions League. He also expressed his satisfaction with the conditions in Gabala:

"From what I've seen, the infrastructure in Gabala is very good. Although I haven't been able to fully prepare for matches due to being ill, it is possible to show a good performance in such conditions."

The experienced footballer concluded by addressing the fans, calling on them to support the team during these difficult days:

"Currently, Gabala is in a tough situation. That's why we especially need their support. I can promise that everything will be fine. We are here to do our best."
