The player of the Azerbaijani Premier League leader "Qarabag" Shahruddin Mahammadaliyev will leave the team in the summer.

According to information received by Offsideplus.az from a reliable source, the 30-year-old goalkeeper has finalized his plan to leave the Aghdam club, as he could not consolidate his place in the main squad.

He intends to return to Turkey. For this purpose, the player's manager is considering possible options and is trying to learn about the interest in the goalkeeper of our national team.

It should be noted that Shahruddin is known as one of the symbols of "Qarabag". He played 142 games in all tournaments for the Aghdam representative in 2016-2023, conceding 101 goals. The goalkeeper, who signed a contract with "Adanademirspor", which competes in the Turkish Super League, in 2023, played 25 matches in his new team during the season. Mahammadaliyev left the club, which was experiencing serious financial problems, last summer.

He is currently competing with Mateusz Kochalski and Fabian Buntić at Qarabag. For this reason, he was given only 11 appearances by head coach Gurban Gurbanov in the 2024/25 season. Despite this, the coaching staff and fans love Shahruddin, who always works hard on himself.
