The head coaches for our national teams in the lower age groups have been announced.

Offsideplus.az presents information about the coaches:

U-15 team head coach Aleksandr Gross: The 33-year-old coach is no stranger to our country. Born in Baku, he spent his playing career in Azerbaijan but was forced to retire early due to injuries. Having played for clubs such as Inter, Sumgait, and Neftchi, Gross has also worked as a coach at Sabah.

U-16 team head coach Famil Khalilov: Although young, he is experienced. Since 2020, he has been a coach at the Gabala academy, playing an invaluable role in the development of many local footballers currently playing for Gabala.

U-17 team head coach Emin Mustafayev: The 36-year-old specialist is a product of Qarabag. He ended his playing career in the 2018/19 season. Mustafayev holds a UEFA B coaching licence and worked as an assistant to Agil Nabiyev at Neftchi in 2019. Since last year, he has been serving as an assistant coach for the U-17 and U-18 national teams.

U-18 team head coach Mahmud Gurbanov: Known to all of us as "the professor" during his playing days, he has worked as an assistant coach for the senior national team at various times and has also been the head coach of the U-17 team. His last position was at Səbail. He shared his thoughts on the new appointment with our website: "I can't say anything about the goals, squad, and structure right now. Everything will be clear in the coming days."

U-19 team head coach Elgiz Keremli: Although he had to end his playing career early due to injury, he appears to be successful as a head coach. Two seasons ago, he led Shafa to second place in the second league, earning promotion to the first league, and last season, he guided the club to the championship, securing a place in the Premier League. It is worth noting that Elgiz Keremli is the son of legendary Azerbaijani footballer Nazim Aliyev.
