Elgiz Keremli has been appointed as the head coach of the Azerbaijan U-19 national team.

The young coach has provided a statement to Offsideplus.az regarding his new role and objectives:

"I would like to thank the AFFA leadership for their trust in me. Receiving an offer from the national team is always a source of pride. Our goal is to represent the national team honourably in Europe."

It is worth noting that Keremli led Shafa to the first division in the 2024/25 season and secured promotion to the Premier League in the 2025/26 season.
